Paul Guyatt, Managing Director
 

Paul is a HR Consultant with 20 years’ experience in workers’ compensation, organisational review, change management, culture development and human resources, including working with organisations at both the macro and micro levels.  Paul has extensive experience in the fields of workplace investigations, workplace health, rehabilitation, disability management, managing the mix of health and performance management issues, attendance management and loss management through workers’ compensation.

Paul has over ten years’ experience managing the Rehabilitation, Health & Welfare function for a large utility, achieving excellent results in relation to workers’ compensation and rehabilitation and was also responsible for the implementation of an award winning employee wellness program.

 

Paul is experienced in the management of complex health related employment issues, code of conduct and grievance investigations and implementing conflict resolution strategies.  Paul has developed strategies and coordinated processes specifically designed to address the underlying basis for problems affecting the work performance of individual workers.

 

Paul has consulted extensively to employers in the private sector and ‘not for profit sector’ as well as State and Federal Government organisations and Government owned corporations.  Recent clients include Queensland Education, Department of Environment and Science, Metro North Hospital and Health Service, Trade and Investment Queensland, Department of Communities, Disability Services and Seniors, Brisbane Youth Detention Centre, Toowoomba Catholic Education, Ready Bake, St Andrews Anglican College, Emmanuel College, Westpac, Qantas, Sunshine Coast Council, Healthy Waterways and Catchments.

Peter Mathews, Director

Peter Mathews is a management consultant who specialises in organisational and efficiency review, change management, strategic interventions, process review, governance, strategic corporate and business planning, market research and planning, regional development and transport economics.

 

Peter is also experienced in commercial negotiations, investigations, strategic HR, issues management, workshop facilitation and team building (Peter is an accredited Myers-Briggs facilitator) and strategic positioning of organisations in the market place. 

 

Peter has over 25 years’ consulting and senior executive experience in the private and public sectors, specialising in major organisational reviews that lead to significant improvements in business and strategic performance.

Leanne Middleton, Associate
 

Leanne is a HR specialist with over 15 years’ experience working with not-for-profit and commercial organisations within the healthcare sector.  Leanne provides high level strategic and operational HR solutions across a wide range of areas including workforce management, staff culture, change management, learning and development, recruitment and onboarding, HRIS management, employee value propositions and reward programs, performance, and workplace investigations.

 

Leanne has held Senior HR Business Partner and Advisor positions for aged care providers Masonic Care Queensland, Vacenti, and Regis.  She has recently moved into a consulting role providing HR advice and services to clients within the healthcare sector.

 

Leanne has consulted to employers in the private and public sector, including Government owned corporations.  She has , co-designed and conducted training programs in the areas of HR, culture development and bullying & harassment.  She has managed significant recruitment projects within the aged care sector and also conducted organisational review and change managmeent programs, including within complex shift roster environments.

Grant Barrow, Associate

Grant Barrow is a Human Resources and Management consultant with over 30 years’ experience in organisational change, workers compensation, staff culture programs, workplace investigations, underperformance and disciplinary matters, recruitment and onboarding, workforce development (including skill development workshops), staff recognition and reward programs, staff rostering, HR system implementation and enterprise agreement negotiations.

 

Grant has extensive experience at both the operational and strategic human resource level. He has held senior human resource positions at the Commonwealth and State Government level and in the private and not for profit sectors.  He has worked as part of the Senior Leadership Group in many organisations and has considerable governance experience reporting at a Board level.

 

Grant has successfully worked as a General Manager, People and Culture and/or Human Resource Manager for organisations including the Department of Senate, National Library of Australia, State Library of Queensland, Australian National Training Authority, Masonic Care Queensland, Regis and Vacenti (previously Queensland Rehabilitation Services).

 

Grant has extensive experience developing and implementing practical people solutions to enhance the delivery of strategic business priorities.  He is an excellent communicator and influencer of people and has strong investigative skills.

Peter Fletcher, Associate

 

Peter has extensive experience as a previous senior HR and ER Manager in the State Public sector and is well versed on the Recruitment and Selection Directive and conflict of interest issues. Peter has successfully case managed politically sensitive investigations involving conflict of interest matters involving a number of subject officers including complaints made against very senior officers.

 

Peter has a wealth of knowledge and experience in in managing complex and sensitive HR, ER and IR projects and issues. His background spans many years working across many industries and working across government, quasi government, private sector and not-for-profit entities and small businesses.

 

Peter has specialised in providing HR solutions that are tailored to your business and your operating environment. He has worked on start-up operations and also managed complex downsizing projects involving significant redundancies.  He was consulted to a variety of industries in times of significant change.
