Peter Mathews, Managing Director
Peter Mathews is a management consultant who specialises in organisational and efficiency review, change management, strategic interventions, process review, governance, strategic corporate and business planning, market research and planning, regional development and transport economics.
Peter is also experienced in commercial negotiations, investigations, strategic HR, issues management, workshop facilitation and team building (Peter is an accredited Myers-Briggs facilitator), selection and recruitment and strategic positioning of organisations in the market place.
Peter has over 25 years’ consulting and senior executive experience in the private and public sectors, specialising in major organisational reviews that lead to significant improvements in business and strategic performance. He has held senior executive roles in rail, shipping, transport, ports, marine, and consulting businesses.
Paul Guyatt, Director
Paul Guyatt is a workers’ compensation, rehabilitation and HR specialist with over 18 years of experience working with organisations at both the macro and micro levels. Paul has extensive experience in the fields of workplace investigation, workers' compensation, workplace health, rehabilitation, disability management, managing the mix of health and performance management issues, attendance management and loss management through workers’ compensation.
Paul has over ten years’ experience managing the Rehabilitation, Health & Welfare function for a large utility, achieving excellent results in relation to workers’ compensation and rehabilitation and was also responsible for the implementation of an award winning employee wellness program.
Paul is experienced in the management of complex health related employment issues, code of conduct and grievance investigations and implementing conflict resolution strategies.
Paul has developed strategies and coordinated processes specifically designed to address the underlying basis for problems affecting the work performance of individual workers and work groups.
Paul has consulted extensively to employers in the private sector and ‘not for profit sector’ as well as State and Federal Government organisations and Government owned corporations.
David Shoobridge, Associate
David Shoobridge is a management consultant who specialises in organisational reviews, policy development, change management, culture development, strategic interventions, tailored HR solutions, regional development, governance and process review.
Employed for over twenty years in executive management of various Northern Territory local government authorities, David specialises in community engagement and establishment of efficient service delivery in remote locations. In recent years David was the Chief Executive Officer of Barkly Shire Council in Central Australia and has prior experience in northern Arnhem Land and the Port Keats/Daly region. Previous appointments have included CEO of Councils in Goulburn and Croker Islands, Ngukurr and Daly River (Nauiyu).
During the initial years of the Northern Territory Emergency Response (NTER) David was appointed by the Commonwealth Government as the initial Government Business Manager at Elcho Island before accepting an administrative role as Area Manager and GBM Mentor for the northern area.
Outside local government David has had extensive involvement in tourism development and the hospitality industry.
Kylie Torrens, Associate
Kylie Torrens is a worker's compensation and rehabilitation specialist with over 20 years of experience. Kylie has worked directly for organisations in the health, manufacturing, transport and utility sectors at both the macro and micro levels. Kylie has extensive experience in the fields of workplace health, rehabilitation, disability management, managing the mix of health and performance management issues, attendance management and loss management through workers’ compensation.
Kylie develops strategies and coordinates processes specifically designed to address the underlying basis for problems affecting the work performance of individual workers.
